Tamizh Puthandhu Vartikal!
Translating to "happy new year" in Tamil, it is the phrase used to greet people on the day of the Tamil New Year, celebrated on the 14th of April.
We celebrated Tamil New Year at Youth Center this year. It started off with a pooja, followed by traditional Tamil music (Melam & Nadaswaram), Tamil games, and performances!
