This February, we had the pleasure of guiding students from the Lycée Français de Pondicherry through Auroville for a week. It was the second year we organized this tour with them, and after their great experience last year, so they reached out to us to do it again this year. During their stay, they were accommodated at the Youth Camp. To start their first day in Auroville, Namu gave them an insightful presentation about YouthLink and the spirit of Auroville.
All their travels were done by cycle. They were accompanied by three of their teachers. During the first two days, they had the opportunity to tour the Matrimandir gardens, experience ATB (Awareness Through the Body), visit an organic farm, enjoy a tour and lunch at the Botanical Garden, we also organized for them a Blind Babble session, and we played basketball at Certitude!
On Wednesday, they spent the day at Last School, where they had a visit and a workshop in the morning, followed by a class in the afternoon.
In the evening, we organized a Pizza Workshop at the Youth Center, where they got to take orders, make the pizzas themselves, and, of course, enjoy eating them!
During the last two days, we did sports at Dehashakthi, followed by a visit to the Svaram Sound Garden.
To wrap up their Auroville experience, we toured Buddha Garden and visited the chocolate factory.
It was a week full of wonderful adventures, shared joy, and plenty of funny moments together. We all had a great time!
