YouthLink has started hosting Karaoke nights in 2022, and we want to continue doing so going into 2023 as we saw how the whole community was involved and how positive the outcome was!
Everyone got to sing their heart out and had a blast with friends and fellow music lovers.
Are you feeling a little hesitant about trying karaoke for the first time? Well, don't worry!
We understand that it can be a bit nerve-racking to sing in front of others, but we promise that we've got your back.
Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where everyone can feel comfortable, whether they're a seasoned karaoke pro or a newbie.
So don't be afraid to take the mic and show off your skills - we can't wait to see what you've got!
But that's not all!
Our karaoke night is not just about singing, it's also about having fun and connecting with others. You'll get the chance to meet new people, bond over your favourite songs, and cheer each other on as you take the stage!
During our past events, participants performed songs from various genres, such as pop, rock, and country. The audience cheered them on at first, then they sang and danced along!
Some people were hesitant to sing in the begining, but after seeing how much fun everyone was having, they gained confidence and performed.
It was inspiring to see them overcome their fears and sing in front of many strangers!
These nights all ended on a high note, with everyone energised, happy, and connected.
We will host another karaoke night soon, and hope to hold one every month!
